Michele Finey is a professional astrologer, writer and hypnotherapist based in Melbourne, Australia. Michele grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains where she lived in a house called “Chiron” with her eccentric family, including her Pisces artist grandfather, George Finey, who was born exactly one week before astrologer Dane Rudhyar. (They also shared a Sagittarian Ascendant.)
It wasn’t long before Michele became utterly fascinated by the planets, casting her first horoscope in 1980 when transiting Uranus was making a conjunction to her natal Jupiter.
Michele has a passion for research, mundane astrology, healing and planet Earth. Michele’s articles have appeared in numerous publications including The Mountain Astrologer, Wellbeing Astrology Annual, Nature and Health and Dell Horoscope. She is the author of a comprehensive Health and Wellbeing report available through Solar Fire and her first book, Secrets of the Zodiac, was published in 2009 by Allen and Unwin. A second edition of this book was published in 2010 for distribution in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
